Name:
Jonas Alsaker Vikan

Position:
General Manager

About the author
Jonas Alsaker Vikan is the General Manager of Berlin Allianz. He led the team to a European championship and a third to fourth placing at the first CGS World Final. The twenty six year old Norwegian is also a journalist.

1. January, Trondheim, Norway

This is the yearbook for Berlin Allianz' first year.

It contains team statistics and statistics for the individual gamers. You will find results, scores and plus / minus ratios. For each category there is a General Manager assessment, judging the rate of success.

There is also information and statistics on our webpage and its crew.

Four hectic months turned into «the first year» faster than anyone could have imagined.

There were big moments, one of them came instantly in the CGS European Final. There were painful moments, as one of them halted the Allianz campaign in the World Semi-Final. There were plenty of moments of doubt, during long, weary practice hours at home behind a closed door. On the other side of that door stood friends wanting to party.

There were moments of greif as well as joy; all of them colored by the aspiration fueling the dream of winning a world championship. It is all part of the sporting experience from Birmingham to Los Angeles and back to the homes of our players scattered across Europe.

On the following pages you will find our account of «Year one.»

Happy new year everyone

Wonderful article Jonas, it just shows how much passion and time you put into the squad! Too bad that some statistics are missing. I've said it before but I love to say it again, this year is our year.

Great article! There's not any page about you then, but we all know here you did an amazing job so far, and I can't wait to live more intense emotions with you and the team in 2008.

Cool yearbook.

I agree that Rudolf will continue to grow as a captain for his team. He showed great growth during the Core match when his team needed him the most.

I'll look forward to playing him in future competitions.
