Video reporter Fredrik «slop3» Wahlstedt is back in Los Angeles to produce visual content from the Berlin Allianz camp!

With the 2008 CGS World semi-final coming up later today he decided to take a trip down to the Allianz' DoA practice room and grab our female player Livia «Liefje» Teernstra for a pre-game interview. The pair talk about preparation, the match-up with «Vanessa» and how the other players will fare in this important match.

Liefje I don't think you should be too hard on yourself. As you said, anything can happen on stage and you've certainly proven that you can beat some of the best DOA Female players in the World in previous matches .

I wish you good luck for your match

I hope you were being extremely modest or just not serious because if you go into your match with Vanessa tonight with that thinking, you will lose.

Berlin definately has a chance to win against the Optx. So the team can't afford to have anyone doubting themselves. Playing your best when you feel you are going to lose is not playing your best for the team. The team needs you to be confident in your abilities and fight every round to take her down. I'm sure Vanessa is going to bring her A game to the table. When you are fighting against her on stage and she is beating on you, if you are beating on yourself with thoughts like "I need luck to win" and/or "she has more experience than me," you are not helping the team.

Experience is one thing, but it isn't the only thing that decides a match in Doa. Application of knowledge is key when playing against anyone. You have already shown you got what it takes to win. You just have to believe in yourself and play each round with the absolute best of you abilities. If not for yourself, for you team.

Instead of going into the match already thinking you are going to lose, go into it with a "I'M GONNA WHOOP YO ASS! RAAAAAWWWWRRRRR!!!" mindset.

Best of luck to you and the Berlin team in tonight's match.
