About the author
Jonas Alsaker Vikan is the General Manager of Berlin Allianz. He led the team to a European championship and a third to fourth placing at the first CGS World Final. The twenty six year old Norwegian is also a journalist.
10. October, Oslo, Norway
At every official function there was always a camera following the Berlin Allianz players around. The point of what was percieved as an annoyance by the players was to give you the most up to date coverage possible.
While most of the images were uploaded to our gallery section this summer some went missing. After re-discovering some of them I'll leave it to you to enjoy the weird situations they depict.

Kat «No pictures please» Hunter
Very sorry Kat!
I tried documenting the San Francisco OPTX loitering around the pool area as they waited for the TV crew when I saw their GM Kat Hunter. I moved in for a quick snap shot but she spun around with a felines speed and agility before she exclaimed, in her infaous «Kat Hunter voice»; NO PICTURES JONAS!
I'm sorry Kat, I had to...
Bubble-boys
«Fatal1ty» and «FinPro» - the Michael Phelps of esports?

A picture speaks a thousand bubbles.
To me this is one of the funniest pictures I have ever seen in my years in gaming. Why «Fatal1ty» and «FinPro» are sharing a bath I'll never know. Is the 12 time world champion discussing competition with the one time Forza world champion?
They'll keep us guessing - I just hope they were wearing their swimming trunks.
Gamers will be gamers
What do you do when you have to wait for a ride

«FinPro» the avid spectator as «olander» masters the game
When the ride to a CGS game is some minutes late, what do you do?
You play - as «olander» is doing here - on any device available to you. Lost of the CGS professional's purchased hand held devices to pass the time while some stuck to playing on their phones. Their fiercly competitive nature instigates competitions as to who can break the record at «snake» and other mobile games.

Rudolf Fischer hits the make-up room
Some tactical brushes of rouge
Rudolf is not the kind of person I would expect to find in the make-up chair. The Swedes from the CS:S team, definitively Livia and «FinPro» were in there all the time so imagine my surprise when I realized they managed to talk «The Tactical» into doing it.
After his session was over he admitted what most of us knew - make-up is fun!
Playing the waiting game
The unqualified players have to wait and watch the CGS Individual Finals from the outside

2008 Individual finals
The CGS Individual Final was only for the one's that won their respective games in their regional final.
The teams all got to go though but in a way that almost seemed fitting they were forced to wait in the hall, watching the action on big screens as the participants duked it out for the individual trophies inside the tournament area.
Faces of «FinPro»
In Forza things can change in a heartbeat

Confident --> Worried
Inside the Individual Final «FinPro's» hopes change several time in a heart beat displayed through his facial expressions. The worried look turned into the look of confidence as he realizes that him and «Yggdrasil» would be crowned Forza champions.
The pictures are taken by Kat Hunter.
