The lead-in to the story follows:

"Twenty year old Robin Johansson from the city of Grums has the job of his dreams - professional gamer.

A couple of months back the young adult put his signature on a contract that ensures his livelyhood from playing Counter-Strike: Source. This week Johansson came back from the biggest tournament in history with a third place finish to his name."

While the Birmingham Salvo would argue that third place finish you can not expect mainstream outlets to get it right all the time. The story on Johansson is one of the coolest features on a professional gamer this author has seen.

Take a look at the scans here:

«Robin plays for a living.»

Robin tells the story of how he became a contracted CGS progamer and how it was a dream come true for him to be able to live off his passion for gaming. Furthermore he explains the system of competition with the draft, a concept unfamiliar to most Scandinavians, and the world final where Berlin Allianz ultimately finished in 3-4th place.

Twenty year old Johansson wants to stay in this line of work as long as he can.

He is also given the opportunity to let people in on just how much preparation, blood, sweat and tears he and his team puts into being good enough to compete at this level. The CS:S team practices five to six hours daily between Sunday and Thursday as they prepare for an event.
