In a huge break for Berlin Allianz our 2007 racer Erno «Finpro» Kuronen was approached by the biggest newspaper in Finland. A journalist and photographer came to his house to get the lowdown on professional gaming in the Championship Gaming Series. The result was that the article was pushed back several weeks.

The reason it was pushed back was because they needed MORE space to tell his fantastic story.

Friday special with Berlin player

The article opens with the thrilling tale of Erno's race during last years World Final. It details the dramatic finish to set the tone of the article where Kuronen's career is explained to a reading audience over 1 million people. The article was run in «Helsinki Newspaper's» (direct translation) Friday special section.

It gives mainstream audiences in Finland a chance to read a story about a young man determined to achieve his dream - and successfull at that.

It also explains how the Championship Gaming Series work and underline the importance of the upcoming Combine and Draft event. Erno is quoted saying how hard he practices for this event and how difficult it can be to stay on top with plenty of other gamers vying to take his spot on the team.
