Getting mentioned by the mainstream media is pure gold in our endeavour to make electronic sports accepted by mainstream audiences..

One of our media highlights for 2007 was Rudolf «The Tactical» Fischer's interview with the most widely distributed German newspaper, the Süddeutsche Zeitung. You can find a link to it in our Media Exposure section.

More media outlets are catching on and our young German captain was interviewed by one of the biggest newspapers in his native Bavaria in early January - the Ausburg Allgemeine.

If I'm playing - I do it right

The headline of this mainstream newspaper article describe Rudolf «The Tactical» Fischer. Fischer is meticulous in his preparation for competition - the attention to detail and his cerebral approach to gaming is mirrored in his nickname.

In this article the journalist attempts to find out what makes Fischer a world-class competitor. «The Tactical» is asked about his team and the CGS World Final. Rudolf also tries to explain his talent. He confesses that much of his gaming skill is derived from great reflexes.

- If an object falls off a table I often catch it while others stand idly by,
he said.

Sharp reflexes and an active mind propelled Berlin Allianz' number 11 to great heights during the CGS World Final in Los Angeles. Photo: the CGS League page.

Rudolf talk about his future. He admits he can see himself with a wife and kids in a house somewhere over the course of the next 15 years.

First up for the twenty-one year old German is another season in the Championship Gaming Series where he is looking to become the best player in the world.
